So far, 2026 has been a year of really unprecedented creative activity for me. I have spent the first few months of it promoting my book, Becoming Loud & Brave. Some days I have spent signing copies and sending them out to people who ordered them. Earlier this year, I went back into the studio & recorded the audiobook version of Becoming Loud & Brave, which is now available on my Bandcamp site. 

I released the final (I think) single, Stronger Than Us,  off of my newest record, Loud & Brave Before Sunrise, with its accompanying music video. This is a song I wrote about my Mom & I've really enjoyed hearing from so many people as the song resonated with them about people in their lives.

I've recorded and released 5 new podcasts so far this year. I actually have recorded more than that, but some of them are coming out later this year. 

My social media following has grown more than ever before this year. I'm thankful to be able to connect with an increasing number of people through Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, & YouTube.  These mediums all offer unique experiences in sharing our lives with each other and can be used for good in the world when we want to. 

Finally, YES I have been recording new music (about half of a new record is done at this point)! I am impatient about getting my new solo project into your ears, but I am willing to wait until it is perfect (or as close as it can be) before I send it out into the universe. I am HOPING to be able to share some of it with you starting this summer and releasing the full project in 2027. We will see how that all pans out. For the moment, I can tell you that I am more excited about this new music than I have been about anything I have done before!

I am also in the middle of producing another artist in my studio here in Illinois. This is going to be an incredible record that I am very proud to be a part of! I don't have a release date for it yet, but when I do, I will let you know, and you WILL WANT TO GET IT! I am having a great time helping other musicians and artists realize their vision and bring it into reality in the studio.
