I spent last week finishing my editorial approvals for my upcoming book & then over the weekend got into the recording studio to begin working on the 23 new songs I have written for the next record! In the meantime, of course, I will be releasing new songs, videos, and podcasts in 2026 for you! 

Now that we are so close to the release of my book, I wanted to share a bit more about what you can expect. It is a memoir of sorts. For music fans, it will be a peek inside what it was like to be both a teenage independent artist, playing in the tri-state region of my small-town upbringing, and to sign with 3 major record labels and have my life radically changed by those experiences.  

For fans of the CCM industry, it is definitely an up-close view of what my experiences as a “christian artist” were, both the pros and cons of that time. 

For those of you, like me, who grew up in small towns, especially in the Midwest, this book will have a lot that will likely resonate with your experiences. Some humorous, some sad, and some of it beautiful.  

Of course, ultimately woven throughout all of this is my story, like many people's stories of struggling to learn to love myself for who I am, to receive God's love for me, and to learn to shed the obsession with other people's opinions. 

For those within the Christian community, I know some of it will be challenging, and some of it, I hope, will be encouraging.

For those outside the Christian community, I believe it will offer bridges of commonality and hope, because whether we are people of a particular faith or of no faith, we all share the same humanity and the needs and desires that come with it.
